The Mind-Body Connection/How Does it Work?

The mind-body connection is an approach to well-being. It is a natural practice or a holistic approach to healing. It works to bring the mind-body and vibrational energies back into balance. Even though we assume they are separate categories, each overlaps and dramatically influences the other. Each of them is an interactive part of our energetic or vibrational Self. It is essential to address all areas, for if one or more parts become neglected, it will harm our health and quality of life.

Valaided by quantum physics we are all physical beings with energetic bodies, and we are integrated and interconnected with the universe as a whole. Each of us has individual needs, wants, desires, and hopes. We all have our unique gifts to give the world.

We also have an emotional body. Our thoughts and emotions are also energy and when we have repressed, suppressed, denied, and pushed away childhood emotional pain or trauma this negative energy becomes stuck in the very cells and organs of our bodies. Causing illness and disease when it is left unfaced and unhealed.

Scientific Research Shows that 90% of All illnesses are Stress-Related.

Research shows that 90% of all illnesses and diseases begin with long-term stress, and the lifestyle we choose enables us to deal with stress. However, we have the power to make changes. We choose to empower ourselves with great potential to change our whole life for the better. Therefore, I and millions of others became meditative to relieve the overwhelming stress and anxiety crippling our lives. We began meditating to reduce the overwhelming stress hormones cortisol and adrenaline that poisons our bodies, creating illness and disease. Therefore, this is one of the most important reasons to begin a daily meditation that is right for you.

Meditation to Reduce Stress and Anxiety

Learning to be meditative is not sitting in a cave or on a mountaintop. It can take as little time as 5 minutes and gradually as your mind and body become more at ease 10-20 minutes a day. Meditation is most helpful in understanding how your body-mind connection work. We can tap into infinite wisdom and the healing power it brings us rather than doing with action. Meditation is a way of being; the benefits spill over into all areas of our life. We also learn to stop the negative, stressful self-talk habits.

We create a belief system that serves us for what we want to achieve now and in the future. As a result, daily meditation practice becomes a part of you. We are incorporating a healthy thought process into our life. You begin to have thought patterns that support you instead of hurting you. Physically we shift the chemical messages our brain sends to our body. Therefore, promoting a healthier you instead of illness. Our minds promote happiness instead of negativity. We transform our lives from stress, anguish, fear, and doubt. We become fulfilled and live a purposeful life rather than a life filled with stress, anxiety, fear, and struggle.

Understanding the Subconscious Mind and its Power for Hurting or Healing!

Understanding how our emotional health affects our body, and the thought patterns we engage in also affect our body is essential. Including the knowledge of how past childhood emotional pain and trauma affects our whole life through the fragmentation of our conscious and subconscious minds. Past emotional pain and trauma, conscious or unconscious, become negative energy stuck in the very cells and organs of our body. We are creating havoc in our lives and bodies with illness and disease. We live in repeating negative patterns connected to the emotional pain stored in our subconscious minds without even being aware of it.

Living our life purpose with happiness, joy, and energy is challenging when we feel exhausted, overwhelmed, and ill because we are out of our natural balance.

Emotional Health

Emotional health includes the understanding and acceptance of our feelings. Practicing the body-mind connection, we must not push down or push away our negative emotions. Instead, we must be aware of them, and feel them in their entirety, to manage them healthily. Healthy stress management is essential in today’s world. Stress and feeling overwhelmed come from social challenges at home, at work, in all types of relationships, and collectively. Especially with the anxiety and fear that the media spreads throughout the entire collective. To what extent do you feel filled in every aspect of your life?

Healthy Mind-Body-Heart Connection to Our Intellectual and Mental Health

We should have a clear consciousness of our emotional situations and our lives. Therefore, we are open to new ideas and perspectives when we have a healthy link between body, mind, and heart. We become curious in life, enhancing creativity and resolving problems. There is a greater awareness of how we think, process, and express our thoughts. Bringing balance to our mind-body-spirit connection, therefore, appreciating life. We do not allow ourselves to be distracted as we would otherwise. When issues arise in life, we are more able to face them head-on consciously.

Spiritual Wellness/Body-Mind Connection

Spiritual wellness includes our belief system and spiritual practices. We have a deep sense of our life purpose and the meaning of life itself—knowing how our actions align with our beliefs inside or outside organized religion. Having heightened awareness in our relationships, interactions with ourselves and others, our natural environment, and all living creatures. How we relate to others and the world around us reflects our true beliefs and values, including our conscious perception and practice in these areas of life.

Understanding that parts of our consciousness became fragmented, separated like little streams broke off from the main river. We became out of balance somewhere along our path in life. Most of this separation in our consciousness happens before the age of eight. The fragmentation of our consciousness occurs because we are born into this world completely dependent on our parents or caregivers for all our needs and life support. When we are born, we rely on parents and caregivers entirely for food, clothing, shelter, love, and emotional support. Consequently, without them, we would not survive, we are not like animals in nature. A deer is born and up in running around in no time. Human babies are completely dependent on others for survival. As a result, we learn what is good in our behavior and what is bad. We learn what parts of us are accepted and what parts of us are not. The parts of ourselves that were not accepted, and the emotional hurt we experienced we pushed away, pushed down, denied, suppressed, and repressed. Unfortunately, parents and society focus most of the time on our actions and not us.

Parts Work/Shadow Work

Infants are born of families who consciously or unconsciously neglect the child’s emotions even in the healthiest family dynamics.

We can bring these parts back to Self regaining balance and well-being. Consequently, when we hurt or nurture one part of ourselves, we affect the whole. Therefore, when we become aware of hurtful parts of ourselves we have suppressed—shining a light on them brings them into our awareness. As a result, these painful parts of ourselves are no longer beneath the surface. We can accept, release, and let go. They cannot hurt us any longer. Therefore, bringing the fractured parts of our consciousness back to Self. We purposely nurture all aspects of ourselves in mind-body-spirit. Connecting with the whole of who and what we genuinely are is Source energy! As a result, our lives become happier, healthier, and more fulfilled. We live life feeling calm, more accessible, and living life with a purpose by doing what we love. As a result, we positively affect others and the world.

Self-care, to Self-empowerment/Mind-body Connection/Spiritual Wellness

Natural remedies as well as proper medical care where necessary. We can do a lot more than mask symptoms. Treat yourself like an entire person regarding your healing and well-being, that means physically, mentally, emotionally, and energy body.

There will always be times of upheaval in our lives and our health. These may come in the form of shock and are very painful. However, difficult times get us out of our comfort zone. Helping us change and grow even when we do not see this advantage when we are in a state of pain. These upheavals or trying times make us choose to embrace and accept where we are in the moment. As a result, we can consciously navigate these upheavals. They have the power to open doors, which can lead us to profound healing and transformation of our mind-body-emotions and energetic whole Self.

Example:

At the time, someone who went through a divorce is in hell, but healing begins once it’s over. Then, new doors open, and divorce becomes the best thing to happen. As it is said, When one door closes, there is always a better one opening; we have to walk through it when the time is right.

Wake-up Calls in Life

Calls to awaken in life put us at a crossroads, which demands choices and actions on our part. To take up the challenge and responsibility of our well-being. Holding one’s head high with the right attitude can lead us out of our comfort zone to tremendous positive change and blessings in our lives.

Self-Care/Mind-body Connection/Spiritual Wellness

To your well-being. Much love, Lesa.
