How The Subconscious Mind Holds Our Negative Emotional Pain

What does it mean to be holding deep-seated negative emotional pain buried in our subconscious? Here we will explain how the subconscious mind defines everything about us in great detail. Discuss how suppressed emotional pain is stored in our body’s very cells and how we can release past trauma that is making us ill.

How Does The Subconscious Mind Work & Block The Things We Want In Life?

Conscious Mind vs Subconscious Mind

Imagine the mind as an ice burg floating in the water. The top of the ice burg above the water is the conscious mind. The mind of choice, the active mind. What’s below the surface is the subconscious mind. The subconscious mind is 1000 times more powerful than our conscious mind. So if the subconscious mind is that strong, what is controlling it?

We go out into the world to manifest what we want and long for—our dream house, car, business, career, inner peace, loving relationships, and well-being. Working hard using our minds towards what we want, and then life throws curve balls at us. Carrying the emotional pain of our life experiences within us. Imagine how easy life would be to manifest everything we want in life.

Emotional Energy: Expressing or Suppressing Emotions

Many of us express our good emotions through life, but the negative or painful emotions get trapped in our bodies. We are unwilling to tell them because of the pain associated with negative experiences. Instead, we push them down deep inside, and by not expressing and releasing them, we can become sick with an illness or disease. These emotional blocks keep us from reaching our hopes, dreams, and our most desirable wishes from coming to fruition in our lives.

  • Disease = The body is in Dis-ease, because of the repress emotions that we push down; and hold on to. Unexpressed negative life experiences. Emotions fill the body more and more through life. When the body is overfilled with unexpressed negative energy, it manifests into illness, disease, or something else that creates trapped emotions.

Trauma, unprocessed emotions we hold in our nervous system, are the source of everything that ills us. Blocking our expansion and the deepest desires we want in life. Dr. Darren Weissman (The Lifeline technique) explains how that at the core of every symptom, every stress, every dis-ease, and patterns that we experience, whether physical, mental or emotional, are negative emotions, memories buried in our subconscious mind. Negative stuck emotions activate our subconscious mind, and our body reacts as if something past is happening in the present moment. They prevent us from adapting to the present moment of here and now.

Chemical Reaction In The Body

When we have an emotional response to what is going on around us, the stress hormone cortisol is released into the bloodstream. All life in nature is designed for short-term stress. The body reacts as if there is an emergency situation.

  • Example: A rabbit chased by a fox or dog and gets away; fifteen minutes later, it goes back to eating clovers, as nothing ever happened. Therefore, turning back to balance in its nervous system, humans are quite different.

Thoughts Alone Can Turn On The Stress Response In Human Beings

rambling thoughts
Stressful Mind

As humans, we can think about any past negative memory trapped in the recess of our brain matter, and it comes back to life as it is happening now in the present. As a result, we can feel the emotional stress pausing throughout our bodies.

Our brain works in pictures. Whenever we see something, there is a response to that image. A sensory impact, when we hear a sound that sounds dangerous, our brain and body create an emotional molecule to get us to respond to that. As a result, our heart rate increases, and the body floods with high levels of stress hormone (cortisol) and (adrenaline). Our immune system becomes suppressed. We become anxious because we are not at our fullest potential at the moment. The core of every symptom, stress, and disease are our emotions and memories, traumatic perceptions buried in our subconscious mind and stored in the very cells of our bodies.

Conscious Mind VS Unconscious Mind: Feelings Contribute To The Challenges In Our Physical Body

All our thoughts, feelings both conscious and unconsciously, contribute to the challenges in our physical body? We have overwhelming experiences, emotionally or brought us a lot of pain in our lives. There are protective mechanisms that take these experiences and suppress them in our minds and body. The evidence of that suppression is muscle tension.

Understanding the Energy Body

We must know that the human body is energy to understand how emotions work. If we look at one of our hands, it seems solid. Looking at it under a microscope magnified a million times, you would see nothing in there but empty space when looking at a signal atom. There’s an infinite amount of tiny energy zipping around at the speed of light. That is what we humans are pure energy. We are composed of all these countless little energies that are all flying in close formation. Therefore, giving us this experience that we are having in this world. Emotion means energy movement, and it’s our thoughts that create our emotions, and our emotions make our behavior.

When we feel emotions strong enough, we feel vibrational energy. Every emotion has its vibrational frequency. Example: Anger is a different emotional frequency than sadness. When we feel intense emotion, our whole body will take on that dynamic frequency vibration. At that time, the emotional energy can become stuck, trapped regions of the body. Therefore, the body is an energy field. If the intense emotion is not dealt with healthily by releasing it, distorting tissue in the body long enough can result in illness, mental or physical disease, and cancer.

Connective Tissue (Fascia) Of The Body

Fascia or connective tissue is one of the most amazing tissues in the body. Connective tissue is a protein: collagen and elastin. Collagen gives fascia strength, while elastin provides body flexibility. Everything in our body is connected within this fabric, as our big toe is connected to our left ear through connective tissue.

This function of connective tissue is the conductor of energy, so when we protect ourselves from an overwhelming emotional or physical experience, our body goes into a protective state—as a result, causing our muscles to contract. The muscles contract, and the surrounding connective tissue begin to be strained by those contractions. We are causing it to thicken, bond together, and harden.

Chaos At The Atomic Level Of The Body

The only disease in the human body is chaos at the atomic level, leading to confusion at the molecular level and disorder at the cellular level. When enough cells are in disarray, you feel it as a sign or signal in the body; this is what the word “symptom” means. A character or signal of cellular chaos shows up in the body. Therefore, the accumulation of suppressed emotions of anxiety, stress, and pain create tensions that begin to layer upon layer and keep building over time. They start to act upon our joints, blood vessels, our organs. This contracted muscles and hardening restricted connective tissue is called body armor.

Research Confirms 80% Of All Illness Is Caused By Stress

Research shows that 80% of all illnesses are stress-related. Our body is its own conscious mind. It does not know the difference between the emotional experience itself or the thought of the emotional trauma. The body believes it is in the same environmental conditions. Therefore, it is a scientific fact that the chemicals of stress dis-regulate and down-regulate our genes that create disease.

  • If we can turn on the stress response by thought alone and those chemicals can make us sick, then by definition, our thoughts can make us sick.

The Wisdom of Ancient Techniques: Different Cultures Knew The Mind-Body Connection

Through thousands of years in Chinese, Hindu, and Arabic, ancient medicine, we understand what we have lost in western medicine. For example, they know that specific emotions affect specific parts of the body.

yin and yang symbol
Yin and Yang Energy of the Body
  • The kidneys carry fear, the liver carries anger.
  • People who suffer from breathing problems often have experienced a lot of grief in their lives.
  • Individuals who feel obligated to do certain things have knee issues.
  • Individuals who worry about money or don’t feel supported will have lower back issues.
  • People who have problems communicating or feel the world’s weight is on their shoulders feel the effects in their upper back, neck, and shoulders.

Why Do Our Emotions Tend To Build Up Within Us?

Emotions build up because we learn to resist things that don’t feel good. We tend to look for answers out in the world, but they are clearly inside of each of us. Feelings are inside of us.

A scientific, mathematical study performed by Nassim Haramein, Physicist and Director of the Resonance Project, shows that every proton, sub-tonic partial in the nucleus of an atom, is all the energy. All the information in the other atoms in the universe is within us. So when we go inward with meditation, we connect with that oneness, that connectivity of all things.

We Live The Patterns of Our Trapped Emotions

trapped emotions
Trapped Emotions

According to Sonia Chaqusthe (Founder of 6th Sensory Living & Author), Trapped emotions are patterns.

  • We constantly observe these patterns play out in our life if we don’t find a way to complete emotional pain release and come back to Self.
  • Finding a way to keep repeating these patterns of experiences. We continue to re-traumatize ourselves.
  • We pick partners who create the same emotional pain within us. I have found myself there many times throughout my life.
  • We have physiological disabilities because our energy is not flowing.

One of the most significant discoveries is that 90% of our energy is used to suppress energy from our past. When we gain access to that suppressed energy and release all the energy we use to suppress, we get back to live life to the fullest.

Our Body Is Recreating its Self

The physical body is recreating itself literally. Our body is our biography, and we need to get all the junk out of our cells. When it goes over to replicate, we want the new cells to be clean of emotional baggage.

The Unconscious Mind From Conception to 7 Years of Age

  • The unconscious mind from conception to 7 years of age is programmed with emotions and memories.
  • From the beginning, we begin to code the world as excellent and lousy experiences. Our unconscious mind holds and stores them making them real to your conscious mind later in life. We are producing what we experience.
  • If we are depressed, we create it in our minds. If we are suffering pain inside of our mind, there is a resource that helped create and manifest it in our belief system.

We are taught from a young age to suppress emotions. What do parents do for a child who is upset, crying, and distracting everyone? They say STOP, BE QUIET. Men have a lot of difficulties because they haven’t been allowed to show emotions as with many sayings (big boys don’t cry). They have a lot of strong emotions that get shut down, suppressed, and stored in the body. These repressed emotions reap havoc on the body later in life, creating disease, energy gets drained, and they become disconnected from Self. Western medicine wants to go in and cut things out, but when they do that, what happens? Cancer and disease are still present, trapped in the cells.

Observation Of What is Going On In Our Body

Have you ever observed that the pain worsens when you have a headache, for you continue to focus on it? It continues to amplify, and then your emotions get involved. You find yourself in chaos. We take some form of medicine to kill the pain; this does not cure anything. It just blocks the electric signal. We need to get to the cause. What is the source? Is something negatively affecting our emotions or toxins that we may eat or drink? We need to detox and clear it out.

What Western Medicine Is Missing?

90% of all the pain we experience is due to trapped emotions. Emotional pain is the baggage we carry around, trapped in our body cells; this is what western medicine is missing entirely.

puzzled mind
Western Medicine
  • When people are in pain in western medicine, they are giving drugs to suppress that pain.
  • If they have a disease, they are given medicine to suppress the symptoms of those diseases.
  • In reality, the symptoms are the body crying out, telling us there is something wrong. The most significant imbalance we suffer from is emotional baggage stored in our body’s cells. This trapped negative emotional energy caused by painful, tragic events in our life is the reality we genuinely suffer from. Other cultures have known this for thousands of years.

Civilized Society

The things we have set up in a civilized society pushed on the masses create damaging emotional molecules. Once formed, they are real. We live in the most toxic time on the planet. We are all flooded with environmental toxins—heavy metals, chemicals sprayed on our food, chemicals in our water supply.

toxins in our society
Toxins are Everywhere
  • Negative emotional pain stored in our cells can seal these toxins in. We can’t get them out of the body unless we know how to remove damaging emotional molecules and release them with positive emotional molecules. This is the very foundation of health and well-being.

Every symptom is a conversation. Noting in the body or our life happens by chance. We are not made wrong or broken. We are not missing anything. Every problem in the body is a porthole to suppressed emotions that need to be released.

Individuals That Are Overweight

Individuals who are overweight have tried to lose it repeatedly either because they can’t shed the pounds or it comes back with added weight. This weight struggle is not only what they eat. Yes, it can be part of it; more so, the suppressed emotions connected with what the person has and is experiencing in their life.

  • Often, an individual wants to show up and exist for people in their lives and their world. They feel small in response to everything going on in their world unconsciously. So their body responds in weight, pack it on to be more prominent in their world. Trapped emotions cause everything that gives us difficulty in our lives, keeping us from being in our true divine nature.

Once We Become Aware

When we become aware of what is happening, removing these stuck emotions is not that difficult. However, when we allow ourselves into those feelings instead of resisting them, things begin to change inside our bodies and in our outer world for the better.

  • Emotional pain is negative energy stuck in the body that can be removed through feeling. Our bodies are just waiting for us to come out of the survival state. We need to be vulnerable; to become open to feeling again is the first step. Healing our hearts and getting back to our joy. Our true nature is when we go down through the layers of emotion way down at the bottom. Our peaceful self, joy-est playful connected self. When we see someone who is happy all the time, most say, “what’s wrong with them?” Nothing! They are in their natural state. We all should be experiencing our true state in our lives, happiness, and joy.
Follow the First Principle of Success

Think and feel what you want, not what you don’t want, as the saying goes (if you keep doing want you’re doing, you will keep getting what you’re getting). We all have heard this at some point in our life, and we find how true it is!

  • When we allow our damaging emotional chemicals to last for hours or days, we call this our mood.
  • When these negative emotional responses to last weeks or months are called our temperament. As with asking why a person has such an angry temperament. The individual may respond with,” I had this negative emotional experience ten months ago, and they are still living by the same emotional reaction.
  • When these emotions run us for years on end, it’s called our personality trait. So it makes sense to change our personality or some aspect of ourselves; we have to look at the emotions that are memorized and stored in the body.
Forgiving Others and Ourselves

So many times, some individuals say they have forgiven someone, but they truly haven’t. We know this because their body is experiencing unforgiveness through liver issues, pain, or different manifestations in the body. We are leaving the individual with no energy to live life. Until we resolve our problems of suppressed emotional pain, it is scientifically proven that we can heal ourselves with the power of the mind. The placebo effect has proven this fact over and over again.

One research study gave some cancer patients fake radiation treatments, and 1/3 of individuals in the group lost their hair. It is the power of our mind, the power of belief, and the power of our mind creating whether we manifest healing or not. Therefore, we can heal ourselves.

  • When doctors say there is no cure for you, they are truly saying that there is no medication or surgery that will cure you. That does not mean you cannot heal yourself. Our bodies heal themselves all the time. Doctors set broken bones, but the body heals that bone, not the doctor.
True Transformation
positive effects meditation has on the body
Transformation: Mind-Body-Heart

True transformation comes when we break free from the chains of those emotional addictions. Then, when we go into the operating system where those programs exist, we make transformational changes.

  • The side effect of true transformation is called joy. That elevated emotion is the liberation of energy out of the body. Therefore, the body is free from the past and moves into the present moment. Then we begin to experience the second type of emotion, goodwill, and gratitude.
  • When we start getting rid of stuck emotions, it is like peeling off the layers of an onion. Some could have been there since childhood, a divorce, college, working years, even high school.

Soon, we no longer have those trapped emotions where the body is clear of those. At that point, it’s like stepping out of the old skin we’ve been carrying all those years. We become the person we intend to be in this world. That is what this is all about, and it is truly powerful!

Physical Manifestation of Emotional Pain: Trapped in Women Whom Can’t Conceive A Child

The relationship between physical and emotional pain repressed and stored in a woman’s body can stop them from conceiving a child. So many women are told that if you haven’t begun to have children by this particular age, you’re not going to have any. Listening to others becomes a belief in their subconscious mind, preventing them from conceiving.

  • Some women have been sexually assaulted as adults or children, had abortions, and had miscarriages. Yes, there is a time when the body starts to shut down as women get older, but when they have been through trauma, their sexual organs hold negative emotional energy stored and stuck in those areas.
  • When women clear out that negative stuck energy, babies show up. Many energy healing practitioners have proved this. Women who have gone through the process of releasing these painful negative emotions have conceived the family they desire and long for.
How Does The Subconscious Mind Work In This Case?

The subconscious mind acts as a lens of perception. Even more, it acts as a broadcasting system. It broadcasts an energy frequency.

  • Example: A baby in the womb and dad is out of work, mom is stressed, scared, and anxious for its the 2nd or 3rd child on the way. The heartbeat and emotions of the mother and father are directly influencing the unborn child. Like a computer, it is downloading information directly into the unborn baby as a stored file. That file is energy, and it doesn’t sit there quietly; later in the life of that said child, it can affect their lives in many ways unconsciously.
Scientific Research Proves This Fact

A research study of the University of Utah on epic genetics has discovered that the offspring of mice carried trauma from the previous generations. Scientific studies with mice conditioned by shocking the mice on foot to be afraid of cherry blossoms. The offspring expressed fear of cherry blossoms in the second and third generations of mice just by introducing the cherry blossoms without the shock. As a result, this proves there is a genetic link that the mice carry the fear of their ancestors.

  • If a baby is born feeling unloved, unwanted, and unaccepted, that creates a belief system for that child. Then will grow up attracting them to what is in the belief system that they hold.
Energy is In Motion and Stays in Motion

Energy is in motion and stays in motion. When triggered, it broadcasts a frequency signal that attracts people, circumstances, and situations that give individuals the same experiences throughout life.

  • Different faces, different places, but the same kind of experiences in one’s life today. Most of us have heard of this saying at one point or another, and it is true. We continue to re-live our emotional pain
  • These are emotional patterns that need to be understood, which we carry on our lives as a result. We continue to experience emotional ways that are in our subconscious mind. It influences our relationship with money, affects our relationship with each other. This impacts every aspect of who we are.

Dr. Bradley Nelson (The Emotion Code) states, “consciously we don’t’ remember much. As in not remembering what we had for breakfast yesterday. We forget where our wallets, keys, and all types of things are with our conscious mind. Our subconscious mind is like a computer, and it remembers everything, every moment of our life experiences. Every split second, our subconscious mind computer knows precisely is what is wrong if you get sick, and knows what it needs to get you well”.

Our Subconscious Mind Knows Exactly What Emotional Energy is Trapped and Where It is Located in Our Body
The subconscious Knows
The Mind Knows
  • The subconscious knows what trapped emotions you have stuck.
  • What had happened at that time.
  • Who was there when it took place.
  • Who was involved, everything that occurred in precise detail.
  • The same emotions going on outside of you are going on inside of you.

Our blood cooks all those emotions, anxiety, frustration, repressed anger, jealousy; all this emotional pain is stored in our bodies. These protein receptors that bind these molecules of emotion are the same receptors that bind heroin. When you take heroin once, what happens, you are called an addict. That is why we are addicted to our emotions. As a result, we find ourselves not happy, relaxed. We have anxieties, panic attacks, all kinds of things going on. We are constantly under pressure, we have to get this done and that done. It’s time to slow down!

Healing, We Can Heal Ourselves With The Power Of Our Mind

We are presented with this idea of healing where we are supposed to let go of the past.

Open up to feelings that are suppressed and release them. So many people often say, “I don’t know how to do it,” or they are afraid they may be worse off than they are now.

One of the most incredible healing models is young children around 2 to 3 years. Small children have such emotional courage and freedom. They laugh when happy and cry when angry When frightened, they run to their parents to be held, and when they feel comforted and safe, they let their feelings out, expressing them. Then they run right back out and play again, laughing and playing as nothing happened. This is what we all can do, release our emotional pain.

  • We can heal ourselves from all this accumulated emotional pain. Emotions have been building up in our bodies throughout our life. Causing us to be tense, hard, causing us pain, illness, and disease. Depriving us of all this energy that is locked up instead of being available to us in our present-day life to do the things we want to do.
Many Ask “What is My Purpose In Life”?

The best way to find your purpose is to ask the question.

  • If I weren’t afraid, I would “fill in the blank” what would I love to do?
  • Hold your hand over your heart and ask this question until the answer comes, and it will come into your awareness.
  • The fear that is blocking what you really want to do in your life will be released.
  • Whatever you want in life, give thanks for it. Once you know what you want, please don’t keep asking because you are saying you don’t have it.
  • When you give thanks for what you want, you acknowledge you have it.

Where we place our attention is where we put our energy. When we decide clearly on creating our future destiny, the greater the possibilities it brings to our lives.

Depression Distorts Our Perception and Blocks Our Energy From Flowing

Everyone has experienced some form of depression at some point in their life. Whether mild or severe, we have experienced it. We express to our healthcare provider; we are experiencing this low in our emotions. The first thing they do is prescribe medication for depression. Yet, they all come with horrible side effects, mood disturbance, sleeplessness, cause more anxiety, including suicide, and the list goes on. They can affect the liver, kidneys, and other organs, for they are not just affecting our depression.

drowning in depression
Drowning in Depression

Medications for depression are drugs that move what chemicals we already have around. What happens if our body’s pharmacy is already depleted? The ancients knew what to do for depression.

  • Get out in the sunshine; the sun is healing. We have been told to stay out of the sun. Many people suffer from a lack of vitamin D, but vitamin D is only one factor of health benefits that western doctors talk about. There are many more healing benefits from the sun they don’t mention.
  • Eat the colors of the planet, eat oranges and pineapple for three days and see what happens to your depression. The results are remarkable, and the emotional molecules being generated and the Nero chemistry in the brain will surprise you with how good you feel.
  • Listen to happy music, sing and dance like no one is watching, and who cares if they are. Experience the difference in your mood; your outlook on life will change for the better.
Does Depression Filter Our Perception?
depression blocks perception
Depression Blocks Perception

One study was done on a group of clinically depressed people and showed them an equal amount of slides of a wedding and slides of a funeral. When they brought in the clinically depressed group for discussion in the lab, they were asked which slides they saw more of, the wedding or funeral. The clinically depressed individuals said there were more slides of the funeral. Research studies of this sort truly show how depression does filter our perception.

So when we begin to remove the distorted lenses that block our true greatness, our true self. We begin to see what has always been there, but we don’t have the mind to perceive it.

How To Remove Negative Emotional Energy Stuck In The Body?

“From the enlightened point of view, however, we are simply pure consciousness, and everything that happens is just a movement of energy inside of us, like images projected on the cinema screen. Images of fire do not burn the screen or cut by a sword’s image. Therefore, the surest way to dissolve any suffering, any negative emotion, back into emptiness is to realize who we truly are. To remember – and experience – that we are the cinema screen, and not the images projected on it.” Giovanni Dienstmann (Live and Dare. com)

Returning to Emptiness: Meditation By, Giovanni Dienstmann (Live and Dare. com)

I like to call this the L-I-F-E method (label, introspect, find, experience) because here we don’t deal directly with the negative energy, nor try to learn from it, but simply return to the “inner life” of pure consciousness, as naturally detached and untouched.

  1. Label. Recognize that fear has arisen, and accept it for what it is.
  2. Introspect.Turn your attention inward, and ask yourself “Who is afraid?” Who is the one that is affected by the fear? Who are you that perceives the fear?
    • Take it slow. Don’t assume – actually do the looking. Use these questions to bring all your attention inside, towards yourself, the subject, and experiencer of that fear. This subject is the ego, your identity, or who you think you are. Spend time keeping the attention here, in this space.
    • If your focus is intense and persistent, at this point you have already forgotten about the fear. But keep on.
  3. Find your center. Ask yourself, “Who am I?” Reject any answer that your mind gives you, because you are aware of your mind (and all its products), therefore, you cannot be your mind. You are aware of your shirt, so you are not your shirt – it is an object of your perception. Your are aware of your body, so you are not your body. You are aware of your fear, so you are not your fear. You are aware even of this mental process, so it’s not you. Who are you? Who is aware of all these things?
  4. Experience yourself beyond the fear. Is this space of awareness afraid? Is it male or female? Does it have a shape? A substance? A nationality?

“You cannot overcome what you are not aware of, what you don’t recognize; as your self-knowledge becomes more sharp and habitual, you will be able to jump directly into dissolving back to emptiness.

I don’t want to spoil your discovery, but if you follow this through long enough and deep enough, you will discover your true position as the witness of everything, fearless awareness itself. There is no suffering in here”. Giovanni Dienstmann (Live and Dare. com)
